Rock and Roll Hall of Fame quintet Def Leppard left no doubt it is still a prime musical group based on its recent sold-out performance in Oklahoma.

Def Leppard performed in front of a capacity crowd inside Lucas Oil Live at the Winstar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma on Saturday night (June 21, 2025) and delivered a sensational 18-song, 100-minute set of rock anthems, hits and new music to the 6500 fans in attendance.

The band kicked the show off with the energetic “Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)” and kept the foot on the gas with “Rocket” and “Let’s Get Rocked.” Vocalist Joe Elliott wasted little time with idle banter with the crowd, instead choosing to let the music do the talking.

Def Leppard played the big hits one would expect such as “Foolin’,” “Armageddon It” and “Love Bites,” as most fans would expect, but the band also managed to include newer material such as the very catchy “Just like ‘73” and “This Guitar.” An unexpected surprise came in the form of “Die Hard the Hunter,” which elicited a huge response from the fans inside the sold-out arena.

As usual, the band slowed the pace a bit half-way through the set and performed some acoustic material in “This Guitar” and “Two Steps Behind,” but it was the hard rock hits which had hands in the air and people on their feet throughout the night.

The band leaned heavily on material from its two biggest selling albums by performing five songs from “Pyromania” and six songs from “Hysteria.”  The group closed its show with songs from each record as it performed “Rock of Ages,” “Photograph,” “Hysteria,” and “Pour Some Sugar on Me” as the finale.

Elliott expressed great appreciate for the fans inside the Lucas Oil Live Arena. Rarely does the band perform at venues this small anymore, but, Elliott stated the band would like to return one day when he said “If this place is good enough for Ringo Starr, then it’s good enough for me!”
