Legendary rock act Rush is headed back to Texas.
Canadian rock legends Rush, in the midst of the band’s “Fifty-something” tour, announced a handful of new dates for the fall and Houston, Texas is on the schedule. The band will perform one night only on Thursday, Oct. 1, at the Toyota Center in Houston. Tickets go on sale to the public at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 4. Other cities added include St. Louis, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh.
According to a news release on the band’s official website, Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson had this to say about the newest batch of tourdates being added…
“When we initially booked this tour we didn’t know how well we would hold up to the rigours of the road – so we played it safe with lots of days off to recover – but life is nothing if not surprising and we’re doing fine and having a blast – so why not try to hit a few more of the cities that have always treated us so well.”
Rush continues to perform a special “evening with” shows in cities across Canada, the United States, Mexico, South America, UK, and EU into 2027 with two sets each night with each show featuring a distinct selection of songs built from a catalogue of over 40 songs including their greatest hits and fan favorites.
