Cyndi Lauper announces farewell tour

Legendary pop artist Cyndi Lauper is hitting the road for one last bit of fun.


On Monday (June 3), Cyndi Lauper announced the “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour”, which is her first major tour in more than a decade and will cover 23 cities this fall. The tour starts on Oct. 18 in Montreal, Canada and concludes on Dec. 5 in Chicago, Illinois.


Cyndi Lauper will perform at the Toyota Center in Houston on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m., Friday, June 7 at www.LiveNation.com. VIP Packages will also be available, and an artist presale will begin on Tuesday, June 4.


The tour announcement was made one day ahead of the release of Lauper’s documentary, “Let the Canary Sing,” which is set to premier on Tuesday, June 4 on Paramount + and reflects on her life and music career.
