One of the biggest rock shows of the spring was just announced for Southwest Louisiana.

 

Rock band Seether has scheduled a show for Friday, May 30, at the L’Auberge Casino Resort in Lake Charles, La. Tickets go on sale to the public at 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 28 at all Ticketmaster outlets and online at www.ticketmaster.com for ages 21 and older only. Several presales are scheduled ahead of the public onsale as well.

 

Seether is currently touring in support of its newest album, “The Surface Seems So Far,” which was released Sept. 20, 2024 on Fantasy Records. The record peaked at No. 138 on the U.S. Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, which is the band’s worst showing for any of its records since the release of its debut album in 2002. It did peak at No. 6 on the US Rock and Metal Albums chart.

 

The new album features the singles “Judas Mind” and “Illusion,” but the band is best known for its hit songs “Fine Again,” “Gasoline,” “Fake It,” “Remedy” “Country Song,” “Same Damn Life,” “Broken,” and others.
