Styx returns to Lake Charles this spring

A legendary rock act is headed to Southwest Louisiana once again.

Styx is hitting the road in 2026 and already has dozens of shows on its schedule. This past Monday (Dec. 15, 2025) the group announced multiple new dates to kickstart the new year, including an appearance in Southwest Louisiana.

Styx will perform at the Golden Nugget Casino in Lake Charles, La., on Saturday, March 28, 2026. Tickets for the event go on sale Friday, Dec. 19, at the venue box office and at www.axs.com. This show is for ages 21 and older.

The group is supporting its most recent album, “Circling from Above,” which was released July 18, 2025 by Universal Music Enterprises and is the first recording to feature Terry Gowan and Will Evankovich as full-members of the band. This release is the band’s 18^th studio album.

The tour begins on Jan. 7 in Tucson, Arizona, includes a five-night stint at The Venetian Theater in Las Vegas at the end of January and continues into the spring before rolling its way into Lake Charles in late-March.

The group will also join forces with Cheap Trick in May for one week and includes five stops in Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska. Styx will then hit a co-headlining summer trek with Chicago across the U.S. This tour will have a stop in The Woodlands on Aug. 20, 2026.
