Halloween will get a country music twist this year.
Country music act Whiskey Myers announced a small string of new tour dates on Monday that will span 11 cities in 17 days beginning with a concert on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024 at the Orion Amphitheater in Huntsville, Ala., and concluding on Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas.
Whiskey Myers is bringing the tour to Southwest Louisiana on Thursday, Oct. 31, at the Lake Charles Event Center in Lake Charles, La. The Halloween showcase will feature special guests JJ Grey and Mofro, as well as Colby Acuff.
Tickets for the Texas-based band’s showcase go on sale at 10 a.m., Friday, April 19, at all Ticketmaster outlets and online. A pre-sale begins at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 18.
The band’s last studio release is the album “Tornillo,” which was released on July 29, 2022 and peaked at No. 10 on the U.S. Country chart and No. 67 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart. The album features the title track and “John Wayne” as singles.
