ZZ Top returns to SWLA

That “Little Ol’ Band from Texas” is headed back to Southwest Louisiana in 2026.
Texas rock trio ZZ Top announced earlier this week it was expanding its 2026 tour, aptly titled “The Big One,” which begins this spring. The tour will now include a return stop in Southwest Louisiana.
ZZ Top will perform at the Golden Nugget Casino in Lake Charles, La., on Friday, April 3, 2026 for ages 21 and older. Tickets for the concert go on sale Friday, Dec. 12 at the Golden Nugget and online at www.axs.com.
The tour kicks off on Saturday, March 21, 2026 in Abilene, Texas and concludes on Saturday, May 23, 2026, which is Memorial Day weekend, in Huntington, West Virginia. Along with Abilene on March 23, the tour will stop at other Texas locations on March 22 in Amarillo, and April 9 and April 10 in San Antonio. Along with Lake Charles on April 3, the tour will be in Alexandria, La., on April 2, with stops planned in New Orleans on April 6 and April 7 as well.
